This interdisciplinary course traverses artistic praxis and theoretical discourse relevant in creative research, community design, urban theory, social intervention, and spatial practice. These concepts will be explored through critical making, conversations, and lectures, along with visiting artists and critics. This project-based course offers practical experience and a conceptual underpinning in producing creative work in the public space and interest.
Four spaces are open to advanced undergraduate students, with instructor’s signature.
